Externally fed rotary filter screen is one of the pretreatment solid-liquid separating devices used for small and medium wastewater treatment plants, and a device which can remove solid suspended matter continuously and effectively.
It is designed for small and medium-sized municipal or industrial wastewater treatment plants. It is a kind of equipment that can continuously and effectively screen suspended solids in water, mainly used in sewage pretreatment or industrial screening process. In some sewage treatment, the filtered sewage can remove 30% to 60% of organic or inorganic suspended solids, greatly reducing the treatment load of the latter process.
Rotary Drum Filter Screen
The drum does the rotary movement by the driving device, and the sewage is moved from the inlet pipe into the filtrate tank, then flow out.
The solid materials are intercepted by screen, and the water is drained out into the pool from the gap of the screen. The cylinder continuously rotates, and the solid substances attached to the outer wall of the screen quickly peel off from the drum. The backwashing system is composed of a flushing line and nozzles.
The high pressure water is sprayed through the nozzles, and the solid objects attached to the sieve is flushed out quickly. The filtration is continuous and non clogged.
